this annual event is once again come back to kk. as usual it is held at the Tun Mustapha Tower or also known as the rotating tower of kk. some kk residence used to refer this building to me as "the giant battery".. heheh...
well this time as usual hosted by KL Tower. actually i was invited by one of KPC members to this event. but unfortunately i could not recognize any of them here in the event (or rather to say... there were not much of introduction yet between me and the club). however i met some one who claimed to know every inches detail of the club. well he is actually a non member. but i manage to dig something out of this old timer. he has sincerely taught me some of his secret weapon in photography... i got a free class from a very experience "otai"... heheh i guess i made my day already at that point.
i had a plan actually... for this morning, i was suppose to go to the base jump event, snap some picture and out. but it turns out that i was hooked pretty well to the event. it has offered me a lot... beautiful shots, beautiful girls... foods, activities... and the most unexpected by me was the mini concert.
so i was pretty much spent my whole day at the Tun Mustapha Tower today. final event for today was the final jump and which has occurred just right before the concert was over. i saw rashidi ishak with his dead mushroom kind of taking me back to the earlier time. when at that time i was hooked with alternative music. the youth of malaysia at that time just happened to be introduced to kurt cobain and nirvana (If that guy did not shoot his head i guess there is no grunge ever known by malaysian... hehehe).
i remember waiting for my weekly favorite show at that time. the show called the alternative on tv3. it features the new scene into the nation's menu of music. it shows a lot of indie band playing their best gig infront of minor audiences... one of the band featured was of course the dead mushroom and the OAG. they are considered as the god of the altenatives. given such power, they had gained a lot of audiences and at the same time bringing indie bands and underground music scene to the frontlines.
and today i saw some big differences between these two so called gods. they have grown bigger and more mature. of course the OAG has never left the scene but dead mushroom as we all know has gone to their own individual matters. and today they come back and played more maturely. i just dont understand with OAG today... (or rather i would say with radhi) because i saw a rather different charecter in this guy today. whether he is sick or having amnesia... or may be he is high of something today... this guy repeatedly saying that he is in kuching, speaking sarawak dialect through out the session. keep referring that the audiences was sarawakians. it is not a bad thing though... but i just don't think that he was himself today or rather it was not his usual character i used to see on tv.
over all it was i great fun. jadilah... at least aku ada cerita sebelum fly ke kl esok... untuk dua minggu akan datang ni aku akan bergelumang kat kl lak... hehehhe... kl... here i come!!!

i enjoy very much the most beautiful views in kk. dont have to travel far, still i can have all within my daily travel. i am going to miss this town someday...
